Horse Song

8kms out of town out there in the dirts, there's an abandoned church.
There's all this extra terrestrial activity in the sky but I need you to divert
your attention to the chapel, see that dusty mound? Well that's a burial ground.
Yes, it houses the corpses of the townsfolk's old horses and such and such.
One night in the cold, well the lightning it striked 'em
Maybe the alien frequencies crossed over lores?
Whatever the cause, they must have liked 'em
For we see 2 hooves protrude through the boondies*
she shakily stands on the soil
a trot becomes canter, then gallop, oh look it's a
Ghost horse! With a skeletal illumination
(It glows when her master's in danger)
A note on the wind, so commanding
Her name we can see can see from her branding ohh
She's a horse named "Urtt"
Malcolm was hardly an expert, more a horse sport enthusiast
He went to the saloon to catch a game when he bumped into who he'd missed.
Lix speaks. "You know that the mountainous child - he is my son!
And I'll stop at nothing to get him into my possession !"
The saloon, it went quiet.. and the patrons slunched** in their chairs
(the clientele were all the spirits of the men Malcolm laid to rest)
Malcolm says "ahhh, so it was you my friend.
You are the last man undusted. And lucky you, I've lost my broom.
So let's make this interesting, I challenge you to a
Horse-off!
Meet me at 6:30 - sundown
Actually that's pretty much now.
Come out to the street for a showdown."
Lix nods because he remembers he has that ghost-horse named "Urtt"
Lix, he places his fingers to his lips
And fires off a haunting whistle pitch
His froggy-inhabited hat he tips
And there - out in the street lamp mist
The finest of mares you ever glimpsed
Urtt paws the dirt and nickers while Malcolm kicks a spittoon!
Sunset standoff - gather round
Horse-bound saddled sabotage
Roll up, come for the dressage!

How Do I Dial it Down?
07:16
|
|||
Feel the sting - dark eyes alight with fascination
Suffering in pure bliss
Deep within the stygian depths of my elation
I ache. I'm so sore.
Like a part of me was murdered. Or brought back to life.
Creeping in, it overwhelms when I don't want it
Ruining my whole day
Distracting me, the fevered guilt of not achieving anything for so long
Posing as a conqueror, a degenerate in disguise
Why do I want to disappoint you? And sabotage myself?
How can I resist those scolding eyes?
How could I dial it down?
Why should I dial it down?
Or do I open it up to let you claw inside?
Writhing in the joy of my exquisite torment
Confronting it head on.
Milking it, forget to breathe. Have I been broken? Or repaired?
I want punish you for ever believing in me
Existing somewhere between a deadbeat and a God
Forever trapped, and forever free
Am I not worthy enough?
Do I not want it enough?
Am I not broken enough to let you rip inside?
I could let you try, I'm just terrified of gagging on my pride
and opening my eyes.

Nobody wants to hear another song about your heart
What could you do that hasn't a billion times been done?
Nobody wants to witness you analyze and pick apart
The feelings undeniable
Those thoughts so indescribable
And your memory's as reliable as a lie
When they try to tell you they'd prefer another thing
You'll be locked and frozen in that slow perpetual sting
Nobody wants to hear it, so maybe stop you before you start
Please try to do something tangible with your time
Nobody needs to know another story from your past
There's never been evidence of anybody wanting that
Everyone's sick to death of the same old questions you always ask
Every tale is unrelatable
Its accuracy debatable
The consensus? It'd be favorable if you stopped. (thanks)
When they try to call you out on your stories overblown
You can feign an ailment or just get aggressive with your tone
Yeah nobody wants to hear you talking out your arse
You gotta understand it more, and get out of your own way
Nobody likes to hear that they need to change the way they are
We're all so insufferable, the decision must be our own
Everyone has their way they flip their misery to laughs
Can every day seem more significant?
Will every night feel much less innocent?
Maybe now its all just different to before?
If you tried to listen instead of talking all the time
Feel the calm in silence.
Nobody wants to hear another song about your heart
Nobody really wants to hear it... well unless they do.

E-Snout

My cousin wanted to know what it was like to be a pig so he got an "E-Snout"
My cousin wanted to know what it was like to be a pig so he got an "E-Snout"
There was writing on the box - "The full pig experience!
Using the NoseExpress applicator you can enjoy full body piggery.
Select from the Hog Guide -" and then there were pictures of various pigs.
VR wouldn't do it, to get the full effect you need an "E-Snout"
It had some apps, mostly 3rd party for the "E-Snout"
It's swine time.
There were 3 buttons on the side
There were 4 buttons on the side (I miscounted)
Every button did something different.
We couldn't figure it out.
He went on holidays, but he couldn't seem to detach his "E-Snout"
He went for 2 weeks, and after not hearing from him, in the mail I got
Hog postcard.
