8kms out of town out there in the dirts, there's an abandoned church.
There's all this extra terrestrial activity in the sky but I need you to divert
your attention to the chapel, see that dusty mound? Well that's a burial ground.
Yes, it houses the corpses of the townsfolk's old horses and such and such.
One night in the cold, well the lightning it striked 'em
Maybe the alien frequencies crossed over lores?
Whatever the cause, they must have liked 'em
For we see 2 hooves protrude through the boondies*

she shakily stands on the soil
a trot becomes canter, then gallop, oh look it's a
Ghost horse! With a skeletal illumination
(It glows when her master's in danger)
A note on the wind, so commanding
Her name we can see can see from her branding ohh

She's a horse named "Urtt"

Malcolm was hardly an expert, more a horse sport enthusiast
He went to the saloon to catch a game when he bumped into who he'd missed.
Lix speaks. "You know that the mountainous child - he is my son!
And I'll stop at nothing to get him into my possession !"
The saloon, it went quiet.. and the patrons slunched** in their chairs
(the clientele were all the spirits of the men Malcolm laid to rest)
Malcolm says "ahhh, so it was you my friend.

You are the last man undusted. And lucky you, I've lost my broom.
So let's make this interesting, I challenge you to a

Horse-off!
Meet me at 6:30 - sundown
Actually that's pretty much now.
Come out to the street for a showdown."

Lix nods because he remembers he has that ghost-horse named "Urtt"

Lix, he places his fingers to his lips
And fires off a haunting whistle pitch
His froggy-inhabited hat he tips
And there - out in the street lamp mist
The finest of mares you ever glimpsed

Urtt paws the dirt and nickers while Malcolm kicks a spittoon!

Sunset standoff - gather round
Horse-bound saddled sabotage
Roll up, come for the dressage!
